A young girl looks over the rubble of what used to be the family home of the three girls Monika (7), Aastha (6) and Sapana Baniya (2 months) in Chautara, Sindhupalchowk, Nepal on 29 June 2015. Aastha was buried under the rubble together with her mother but Aastha survived while her mother died on the spot. As their father Ratna Baniya (28) cannot care for the children on his own, SOS Childrens Villages has since been supporting the grandmother with financial and social support so that she can manage to raise the children comfortably and ensure that they will all be schooled.
