Barefoot solar engineer Santosh Devi, who graduated from a  solar course in the Barefoot College in Tilonia, Ajmer, Rajasthan, India, had provided Choti Devi with solar power and lanterns improving their working conditions by allowing them to protect themselves from poisonous monsoon insects and work late in the fields.
